Unreal Engine Expert(Video Export)

Do you just take pictures inside a UE4 game and then "assemble them into a video in Adobe Premier? or do you actually make a 360/VR video clip from with inside the game? We have a earthquake simulator program that was designed in UE4 that plays using the HTC Vive system. We want to record live video from inside the program as the user goes through the experience..
