The files are uploaded to an “upload” folder on the server and the file names and other info are stored in the “files” table of the mysql database. All of the above works with no problems. Once the actions above are complete, a button at the bottom of the dashboard page is activated. When the button is pressed, PHPSpreadsheet is used to move the data from the Excel files in the “upload” folder to tables in the database.
