I'm currently in need of modifying the programming of an existing chat website, written in JavaScript. My main focus is enhancing the chat performance. The site should be optimized for quicker load speed time, enhanced capabilities for higher simultaneous chat loads, and expedited message sending/retrieving. In addition to performance enhancements, I am also keen on improving the overall functionality by adding a level of protection and modifying some functions that have shown to contain errors. Therefore, some debugging experience would be beneficial.
