The user should be given options such as copy without ACLs (file & folder permission settings (similar to Robocopy /B option). The app then checks the total size of all folders selected and checks if the free space available in the thumb drive is sufficient, if sufficient, it proceeds to zip and transfer each folder into the thumb drive. If restore is selected, the user is able to see the list of folders backed up and select them to restore and then select the location where they need to be restored to.
